Property was amazing but it needs to be updated. Buildings are old so need to be renovated. But it’s in an amazing location

The rooms were extremely run-down and tired-looking. We were on the ground level and heard everything above us, super loud, and the rooms don't get dark. The hotel seems to cater primarily to its members, and at times it felt more like a summer camp than a luxury resort. During our stay, the pool was closed for an entire day after a child had an accident in it. On the days it was open, it was so crowded that there wasn't an inch of space. We weren't able to use the pool once, and it was a major reason I booked. Finding a beach chair was nearly impossible, as large families would reserve multiple chairs for one another and leave them unused for hours. This was the biggest hotel disappointment I've had, especially given how expensive it was. I only wish I had spent more time reading reviews before booking.

The staff was friendly however with such a delayed check in (which they even let us in closer to 3 than 4), and only 1 day and 1 night to enjoy the property, we just didn’t have time to use it at all unfortunately. The property is run down and our room opened right onto the parking lot so it was very loud and not pretty at all! I think with a different room, earlier check in, and some minor updates it could be great bc it’s a great location!

Amazing property, rooms are outdated. But location, beach amenities pool and tennis are 10/10.

We loved the stay, good for families, I think the rooms need new rugs. The pool reserved lane time was really a boomer, but them we got used to the schedule. I loved the family vibes too many kids and out kid had a blast

The property is an old school family retreat. The amenities have improved over the years. The pool areas is much cleaner and more upscale than it used to be. The beach services are amazing, as is the new Walnut Lounge (Bar on the Beach). I absolutely love this property. The private beach is fabulous. I love having barbecues on the beach with tables set up for your entire family to enjoy a sit down dinner. If you are looking for a brand new, marble clad hotel, this isn't it. If you want a relaxed upscale beach experience you can't go wrong with this property.

Been coming to this property for many years and it never disappoints. Staying here feels like a throwback to another era : family friendly; beach is glorious; great amenities; and excellent food. Will return again!

Very good service and friendly staff

My family and I had a wonderful time here. We initially booked 2 nights and ended up staying 5 because we never wanted to leave. What stood out the most was the staff and management, they were attentive and dedicated to their Guests enjoying themselves and being comfortable. All of the staff seemed like family, genuinely happy to be there, working together. It brought a great energy to a very special property. Much gratitude to Arturo the manager and his entire staff.
