Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing.
The Garden Deluxe Room was located right next to the main road, and the constant traffic noise made it difficult to sleep or relax. Even the balcony faced the road, so it wasn't the peaceful setting we expected.
The in-room hot tub looked great in theory, but it wasn't practical. The water jets were so powerful that they splashed water onto the nearby carpet, and there was no way to adjust the pressure. It also made the room very steamy, so we ended up not enjoying it as much as we'd hoped.
The staff were friendly, and the main building is beautifully decorated.
Breakfast was another letdown. We arrived around 8:10 am, and most of the hot food—including the scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages and mushrooms—was already cold, suggesting the buffet wasn't being kept warm properly.
We didn't get to try the spa or massage as they were fully booked.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend this property if you're looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

We had an excellent stay here! Staff were very polite and helpful. Using the great value Spa and Dine voucher, we enjoyed a lovely dinner at the Argus after a nice soak in the Mineral spa.

It was a lovely stay with delicious breakfast and beautiful garden at the back for a walk in the morning. They had late check in available till 11pm which was really helpful for us. We will definitey come back to explore more.

Beautiful heritage hotel with amazing staff.
Lovely balcony room with massive bath & Appelle toiletries.
Breakfast was a treat - continental & cooked to order smashed avo eggs.
Autumn leaves & the kangaroos.
I can’t wait to visit again for a winter spa weekend.
