the cost was very good for in the week. Food, The only thing on booking of the room nothing is mentioned about an extra cost for parking !!!

A fantastic stay at the resort. Amazing food, very helpful staff and a beautiful room. We really enjoyed our stay.

Signature room was great, good size , fantastic king bed and large well appointed bathroom (but could have had a hook near the shower for your towel). Staff at the hotel very polite and friendly, helped to change dinner reservation time after a delay on the golf course. Did however feel that prior to my arrival I called the hotel to ask about check in process and if my luggage could be taken to my room whilst they was playing my golf round and the chap who I spoke to was not as friendly and the conversation seems very difficult and one sided compared to the staff I met at the hotel.

Staff are excellent, car parking fees not great though.

Staff was rude when I went for breakfast others was shown there table and were things were we wasn’t my cups in the room had lipstick on and I felt like we wasn’t meant to be there

during heat wave my air con was not working.i was there for 3 days and did not get fixed. they provided fans and admittedly said i could change rooms but was exhausted after long travel and had unpacked everything so declined. Water flow from taps in bedroom was abysmal for 5 star hotel. Was in tenth floor and everyday the electronic key didn’t work so had to go back up and down in busy lifts to get reset. I checked out early and the staff said they would do something to compensate so i got let off a £4 car park bill. When asked if that was it and nothing else got told in no uncertain terms yes that’s it. oh and the toilet flush stopped working on my last day after being used and embarrassingly it was fixed very quickly when i was in the room. Lovely hotel otherwise but certainly not 5 star.

The facilities available for children are very good however the rooms need some upgrades and tlc. We paid for two rooms and both rooms were dirty and not maintained. We reported the issues and a housekeeper cleaned again and a porter removed the stain from the floor. This was also case for the second room but my father in law opted not to report it because he didnt want the hassle. Staff we generally cold and unhelpful and we all agreed the beds were uncomfortable. The rooms alone rate as a 3 star hotel at best but the restuarant, Sona, while pricey reflects the intended calibre of the hotel.

Breakfast was self serve and the bacon & sausage were dried up and overcooked at 730am. It was disappointing that we couldn’t eat in the grill at 8pm as it was booked out when we arrived at 4pm. We ate in Rafters which was pricier and had a smaller menu. Was only ok. Overall not been to CM for 3/4 years and I thought the place looks dated and in need of a modernisation.

Course excellent and Food excellent
