Great stay. Staff amazing.

I booked a Laundryheap pickup service for my laundry. The booking clearly specified Laundryheap, not the hotel laundry. However, hotel staff mistakenly handed my laundry bag to the hotel’s internal laundry without my permission. Hotel staff have admitted this was their error. As a result, the Laundryheap driver was unable to collect the items, and I was charged an extra missed-pickup fee. The clothes have now been washed by the hotel laundry. I request that the hotel take full responsibility for this mistake and resolve the extra charges (including the Laundryheap fee and the hotel laundry charge).

Awesome room with a good view in a great location.

Great location and nice spacious room - A/C was out third night with no notification from staff and the water station did not work on our floor.. unacceptable in the extreme heat. Housekeeping did not do a great job.

Clean rooms, very accommodating staff! This location was walking distance to a lot of places!

Great place to stay

A nice boutique hotel. My wife and I had a nice stay over a long-weekend visit. Madera is conveniently located to great restaurants and 10-min walk to metro stations in Dupont Circle. Hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. Rooms were modern and clean. Bed was comfortable. I appreciated the blackout shade and fan that stays on high (great white noise). Hotel amenities were also appreciated, including filtered water stations (including carbonated) on every floor and welcome cocktails at the adjacent Firefly restaurant. There were also complimentary bath robes, safe, and umbrella in our room.

Property located central to all monuments, White House and 20 minutes ride to Mount Vernon . Staff are helpful and friendly.

We loved this hotel and would absolutely stay there again. It was perfect for our needs and the staff was fantastic.
