Absolutely amazing resort and stay. The staff are so attentive to your needs and beyond friendly. The grounds were beautiful and everything was clean. The resort’s attention to detail is impressive. I would 100% recommend this resort. It’s going to be hard to find another resort like this one - it just set the bar extremely high.

We stayed at several luxury hotels during our travels to Costa Rica and, while all were stunning, this one out-shown them all. We first learned of the place from The Reluctant Traveler and committed upon learning of their sustainability efforts. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and our room was beyond expectations. We loved that they have an adult-only section of the resort. The design of the grounds encourages exploration and we saw a wide variety of birds including toucans, Curassows and Crested Guans. When being escorted to dinner one night, the driver asked if we wanted to take a detour to look for frogs - of course! We loved it! The location is ideal for other activities in the area. The coffee there was the best we had the entire vacation - which says a lot in a country that prides itself on its coffee. If we were to return, we would've stayed here longer.

Overall its a great experience. Excellent maintanance, spa treatments, wildlife, rain forest experience.

Everything about this place is top-notch. I was floored by the level of attentiveness and service provided by literally everyone we encountered...from the front desk staff, the cart drivers, the spa, the restaurants.... everything. The villas are gorgeous, spacious, and luxurious without seeming fussy. The hot springs pools outside each room are an absolute dream, and having our breakfast delivered and set up outside each morning was heaven. I could not recommend this place more. Go...you'll never want to leave.

This place was incredible and the staff were amazing. We had an issue with our plunge and their response could not have been better.

Unbelievable resort

One of the best hotel experiences- everything was impeccable from the staff to the food to the villa to the grounds. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional- even breaking out a flashlight and pulling over on the way to dinner to spot sloths high up in the trees. We went to Nayara for our honeymoon and we can’t wait to go back! We highly recommend the Springs (adults only) for a romantic getaway and for restaurants we tried Ayla, Asia Luna and La Terraza.

Absolutely stunning resort. The staff was incredible. The food was amazing. And it’s gorgeous. Would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend to others! Do the night walk tour, the Arenal 1968 hike, and the hanging bridges walk.
