Easy to navigate. Small and quaint!

The stay was exceptional, and I look forward to returning in the future. The staff was profesional, courteous, and attentive, which greatly enhanced our experience. We were particularly impressed by the hotel's thoughtful layout and welcoming atmosphere. The pool area provided a relaxing environment with excellent service throughout our stay. Beverage service was efficient, and refills were provided promptly. We also appreciated the variety of dinning options available, which allowed us to enjoy a different culinary experience each day. The food was consistently fresh, well-prepared, and of high quality. Overall, this all-inclusive hotel exceeded our expectations and is highly recommend!

Si estas buscando un lugar donde ir DEFINITIVAMENTE tienes que ir alli, el personal las atenciones son un 100% cuando llegas te dan un itenerario de todas las actividades que se hacen en el hotel diariamente ( son muy interesantes) nunca te aburres- soy dominicana y fui con mi pareja no tenia altas expectativas pero este HOTEL lo supero todo, definitivamente cambio mi forma de ver las vacaciones, Puedo decir que fueron las mejores vacaciones de MI vida, tome el cuarto con jacuzzi privado con vista al jardin, definitivamente me senti super segura siempre, excelente team!!

The hospitality here was like no other. Both Ericks were my favorite!! The DJ played great music. The staff were so helpful and kind. If you’re thinking about booking, just do it!

Great Rooms & Staff, But F&B Needs Polish As someone who regularly frequents five-star luxury resorts, Live Aqua delivers beautifully on the fundamentals but falls short on the beverage program. The rooms are top-tier, the sports bar is a great venue, and the service from the staff is consistently excellent.Food is hit-or-miss for this caliber of property. The Italian, poolside dining, and seafood options are well-executed. However, the steakhouse and sushi definitely need improvement to meet true luxury standards. The biggest letdown is the drinks. The house wines are notably sour, and the cocktails rely on cheap, sugary syrups and mixers rather than fresh juices. My advice is to stick to champagne and beers.Ultimately, the staff and accommodations keep this at a five-star rating, but management needs to upgrade the food and beverage quality to truly compete in the luxury tier.

5-star facility, amenities, and staff! We had an amazing time at Devossions by Live Aqua. It definitely looks to be the crown jewel of Playa del Carmen! And if you ever felt the need to leave the property (which you may not want to because it has everything), then 5th Avenue is a block away and Cozumel a short ferry ride away. Excellent resort and can't wait to return soon!

The property is new, modern, clean, and well maintained. The rooms are comfortable, the food is generally good, and the location is convenient for Quinta Avenida. Unfortunately, the beach was essentially unusable because of heavy sargassum. Drinks at the pool frequently tasted watered down, and service was inconsistent. Some restaurants were excellent, while others took around 20 minutes for drinks and up to 40 minutes for food. The buffet is only open for breakfast and has inadequate air conditioning. When we asked to be relocated to another Grupo Posadas property, the hotel declined because we booked through Expedia. Overall, the resort has attractive facilities, but the beach conditions, diluted drinks, inconsistent service, and limited dining options made it poor value for the price. I would not stay here again.
