Amazing hotel! The hotel was very clean, and the room was a great size. I was a little concerned about staying in a two queen-bed room with our two kids, but we had plenty of space and never felt cramped. The kids absolutely loved the pool! My only complaint was regarding parking. At check-in, we were told that parking would be complimentary. We didn't ask for this, but it was offered to us by the front desk associate if we signed up for their Marriott Bonvoy program. At checkout, we found out that the free parking only applied to the first night. It would have been helpful if this had been explained more clearly at check-in so it wasn't a surprise when we checked out. Other than that, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.

The staff were very friendly and helpful at check in and our server at the bar and breakfast were very engaging.

Exceptionally helpful staff and a great location make this hotel an excellent choice. Skip the valet parking and park in the convenient lot behind the hotel. Walk the boardwalk and piers and have your final nightcap in the hotel bar.

Check in was supposed to be 3 PM but when we got there around 5 PM, our room was not ready. Also found a toenail on the floor that was there from a previous guest.

An excellent hotel! My wife and I stayed for four nights. It was in a fantastic location at the South end of the boardwalk close to museums and other sites. Beautifully updated in a historic building with excellent service.

The staff were super friendly and helpful and location was great! However the room was not cleaned well when we arrived. A wine bottle was found under the main cabinets and there was tuffs of hair and food under the desk. The staff tried to make it right. The shampoo bottle came off the wall in the tub which looked to be held on by doubled sided tape? Overall the kids enjoyed themselves but the adults , being this is the first time in a Marriott hotel, I will be looking at other properties before spending my money at a Marriott location again.
