Stoke place is a very old Manor House converted into a Hotel. The staff are brilliant, but the hotel itself could do with some investment. I stayed in the annexe part of the hotel, which is a 1 min walk from the main house/hotel. It was OK. The room only had blinds, no curtains, so not as dark as I would have liked. The bathroom was amazing ! In general very nice, not cheap in the bar, but very good overall. Amazing grounds !

Beautiful hotel with excellent restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Very pleased we stayed here after our flight in to LHR from PHX. Only minor challenge was that there is no lift. However, staff helped us with the bags. Plan to return before we leave for USA

Had some fantastic food and loved the staff. Added bonus of seeing all the geese having fun in their lake

I was really impressed with Stoke Place Hotel. Our room was comfortable and spacious, the staff were helpful and friendly. We had our breakfast included and it was really good, a choice of cereals, freshly prepared fruit, yogurts and pastries. This was followed by a cooked to order selection from the menu. I chose parts of the full English, my partner had waffles and maple syrup. There were also Avocado and Eggs Benedict amongst other things. I'd definitely stay again.

Lovely location

Quaint little pub hotel. Nice breakfast. Bed is comfy. Room was quite warm for sleeping and our window didn't open as we were on the ground floor but otherwise just fine. I would recommend this hotel.

Excellent breakfast and staff. The hotel is beautifully situated. Very good value.

Clean room

Staff lovely and friendly rooms are clean but could do with a little modernising

Bar manager was fantastic and bar menu was good.
