bit surprised by the quality of the hotel tbh. they put us in a disabled room adjacent to the downstairs pub/restaurant which meant we were looking straight out at people drinking. the room had cobwebs and a dirty floor too so we asked to be moved. the other room tbh wasn't much cleaner. the hotel is very rundown and in need of a makeover - very disappointed.

Close to university but amenities were not good. The vending machine was not working and even they did not have bottle water at bar.

The hotel is very old but very clean and helpful staff. The view from our room was great we could open the curtains and see the monument

Clean room, nice staff. Breakfast satisfactory. Nice bar but expensive.

Tasty breakfast and a comfy bed

This was a great place to stay. Very clean and accommodating. The price is well below expected for the area, and in a quiet college campus. The have laundry facilities available for ~3-4GBPs at the nearby student services. Breakfast was included in the already low price. Very highly recommend.

Because of conference unable to use restaurant. Would have liked to have been notified beforehand.

Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast provided adequate variety, staff very helpful

The staff were mostly great apart from one young lady who was rude, arrogant and unhelpful and seemed put out by my questions to her on arrival.

Our room was a little tired although clean. I think the accommodation could do with a bit of an upgrade. We did have dinner in the bar restaurant which is very nice.
