Staying at the almond tree was the best decision we made on the trip. The fact that it is small and hidden makes it so charming. From the moment we walked in, the staff knew our names and treated us like life long friends for our whole stay. We got to know Cary during the complimentary breakfast and Allie during the daily happy hour.
Our bed was so comfy that we stayed in 2 nights of our stay to enjoy it while wearing the very comfortable robes provided. The pool was a great size for the hotel and i enjoyed floating around in it for hours.
If your looking for a locally owned hotel where you will be treated like family, this is the place to stay. We were seconds from duval st and close to any store:food we needed. I also recommend renting bikes from the hotel because they were very affordable.

Small, quiet hotel. Very clean and updated. Walking distance to restaurants, bars, and water activities. Staff was excellent. Went out of their way to make sure our group of 8 had everything we needed and more. Would definitely stay here again!

This hotel was excellent! I would stay here every time I visit Key West! Beautiful rooms and property. The staff was so kind, helpful and friendly. Great happy hour and continental breakfast. Wonderful location, close to everything. We loved it and can’t wait to return!!!
