The hotel is clean and well maintained. Staff is attentive and goes out of ways to accomodate the needs of customers. Breakfast buffet is awesome.
Located conveniently close to KTX train. Price is uncomparable.

We enjoyed our stay at Madrid Hotel Gwangju and I would recommend to anyone visiting that area. It is modern and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our standard twin room was spacious and clean. The shower/tub area is very large and the separate toilet area is a nice feature. There were only 3 items that kept me from giving the hotel an outstanding rating. The beds were a little too firm for our comfort, the jetted bathtub in our room only functioned as a tub (the power switch for the jets was broken for our entire 6 day stay) and there was no drawer space for storing clothes.
