The location to our family members was the main reason we chose Hyatt Place. Everyone on staff was friendly although we had to ask for Housekeeping to clean our room. No one mentioned on check in that apparently they only clean your room when you ask them to do it. The hotel had a lot of guests over the weekend we were there & they had only one elevator as the second one was out of service. Several guests mentioned it had been down for multiple days prior & was down the 4 days we stayed. As you can imagine there was considerable wait to get to the 5th floor where our room was located. I don’t know what the problem was with the non functioning elevator but I would think they would be more insistent with whoever maintains it to get it fixed.
The buffet breakfast was good, better than a lot of other hotels.
I’m sure we would have no problem staying there again when we are visiting our family as it is a nice property & located close to pretty much anywhere we wanted to go.

The location and parking are fantastic. Clean rooms with lots of room. A nice breakfast. It’s very close to OSU but feels like it’s out of the hustle and bustle.

We have stayed here before and loved it. The location is great, nice rooms, great free breakfast and nice staff. But this time our bathroom sink was very slow draining and no matter what we did to the thermostat, the room was extremely humid. The bed sheets and the clothes in our suitcase were damp. The hallway was also hot and humid. Our tv remote didn’t work but someone was at our room within minutes to give us a new one.

Our room was clean, large and well designed. Lots of mirrors and counter space to share easily. Very comfortable bed.
