Family-Friendly hotel with a delicious breakfast and kind staff. The laundry does not smell! We were worried about that with previous reviews but we used it to wash our clothes, including our toddlers and it was great. Completely complimentary alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks, laundry detergent. Traveled with a small child and absolutely loved the camping theater room. Favorite of the whole trip. (Including a Disney hotel) The proximity to the train station made it perfect for day trips/tours to Shirakawa & Kamikochi. Walking distance to old town and morning market.

Great place and very spacious

Clean room, nice staff, convenient location

The room is very spacious and clean. The staff were amazing. Very good breakfast and easy to do laundry. We really enjoyed our stay at Relax Hotel Takayama.

From the outside, the hotel looks a little unassuming and might make you wonder what to expect. But once inside, it was absolutely fantastic. The room was incredibly spacious, with huge beds, a large bathroom, and even an additional zen-style room that gave us plenty of space to relax. Complimentary laundry and dryer facilities were a huge bonus, and breakfast was included in our stay as well. There are also some excellent eateries just below the hotel, making meals very convenient. Despite being a small boutique hotel, it felt warm, cozy, and welcoming throughout our stay. We (my boys both 7 and 11 years old) thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would happily return.

Certainement le meilleur rapport qualité prix de notre séjour au Japon, beaucoup de petites choses offertes, notre seul regret c’est de n’être resté qu’une nuit et pas deux le quartier historique est très joli et les prix des commerçants nous ont semblé plus abordable que dans les autres villes :)

We like the location of the property because it is so close to the bus station and the train station, restaurants and sightseeing areas. The complementary drinks in the room refrigerator and the lobby was most appreciated. We only wished it was a little more accessible from street in to the lobby as the hotel was on the 2nd floor.

ロケーション、設備、サービス全て良い。 部屋にはキッチンと中型冷蔵庫もありあり、 その上価格はリーズナブルで絶対的におすすめ。 ただしフロントが2回でエレベーターがないので、その点は人により注意が必要。

All was good. Staff were terrific.
