As a solo traveler this place made me feel safe, the staff was friendly and helpful and I love the common area and really love that the location is near public transportation, the beach, restaurants, shopping and other attractions! I would definitely recommend it to solo travelers.

Had an unforgettable stay at Waikiki Beachside Hostel. I met so many amazing people here that I honestly never would have met if I stayed somewhere else. The free pancakes every morning were awesome, the outdoor lounge area was the perfect place to hang out, and the rooms were always clean. I also loved all the beach gear you could rent. What really made this trip special were the people. I ended up hanging out with 6 different people in two groups of 3 for almost 2 weeks. We did drives to the North Shore, fishing trips, watched sunsets with pizza on the beach, and made memories I’ll never forget. This hostel turned a vacation into a real experience. The staff were beyond friendly and helpful and always made me feel safe, welcome, and relaxed during my stay. You can tell they genuinely care about the people staying there. I already can’t wait to come back.

There’s not enough word to explain the amazing environment and energy form the staff and the amenities. A lot of this to do and you meet great people activities on site, breakfast at 8am (pancakes), gym, surfboards are available to everyone. Also, shades, chairs, noddles, all the stuff that you might need for the beach they provided. Is the best option to save money so you won’t have to rented at the beach (Waikīkī) is by far the best. I would come back here ASAP love it. Special thanks to Ryan. Bars and karaoke are like 13 min walk.

I only spend two nights at this hostel, but it was great. The common area is super cool, and perfect to meet new people, which is was super handy since I was solo traveling. The area of the hostel is great, and I LOVED the pancakes !! Would definitely book again.
