Hayat Ali the Night Manager was very Courteous and helpful. He share good information about Queenstown. And was very polite and helpful.

If you travel in winter this hotel does not have heating in the bed rooms! They claim there is some centralised heating system which in reality leaves your room cold at night. The windows have a lot of draft and do not properly seal to make this problem even worse. The AC in our room was broken too, leaving only the fireplace working which did not have a fan to circulate the heat. The hotel offered blankets and some stand alone heaters, in a 5 star hotel. Included breakfast was pretty average at the most. Room service conveniently showed up every day on the clock at 5pm when we were having showers after skiing and preparing for dinner so we obviously couldn't receive room service and send them away. Do yourself a favour and book another hotel, even any 3-4 star place we stayed before around Queenstown did a better job at a much lower cost!

Where do I start, you’re better off staying at the double tree across the road. The service and amenities at the double tree would be better. No hot water 3 out of the 4 Nights we were in the hotel. Our night suits disappeared on night one from the side of the bed. The house keeping teams are horrible, missing towels, mats, robes, etc. No attention to detail. The breakfast was like a business hotel, when things finish they are not replenished. The restaurant staff are very friendly. The reception staff including Hyatt the Duty Manager are just focused on selling upgrades. This was our second stay and the quality has gone down dramatically. We won’t be coming back.

Beautiful location on the lake with a lakeside view. The water taxi getting in and out of town was great to avoid the traffic. Pick up bus from the hotel to the ski fields very convenient as we as ski rental shop.

Clean rolm and good breakfast

The Hilton was a perfect location for our family as our kids ages are 7 & 9 and didn't need CBD town services. Stacks restaurant was the perfect location after a full day of activities for adults and kids.

Parking is a real issue. There is a parking garage for the same cost as the outside parking, but it can be hard to see. The free on street parking is very limited. In addition, there was a wood burning fireplace that spread smoke smell throughout our entire building from basement to 2nd floor. It actually made our room hazy and irritated our throats. The smoke was an issue for all three nights. The hotel is also a solid 15 minute drive to downtown Queenstown.

We had a wonderful stay at Hilton Queenstown. The hotel’s location on the shores of Lake Wakatipu provides stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains, creating a peaceful atmosphere away from the busy town centre. The rooms are spacious, modern, and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and excellent facilities. Waking up to the lake views each morning was one of the highlights of our trip. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Service was consistently warm and efficient throughout our stay. The breakfast offered a good variety of hot and cold options, with high-quality ingredients and beautiful views from the restaurant. It was a great way to start each day. While the hotel is located a short drive or water taxi ride from central Queenstown, we found this to be an advantage, allowing us to enjoy the spectacular scenery and a quieter environment while still having easy access to the town. Overall, Hilton Queenstown delivered the relaxing lakeside experience we were looking for and we would happily stay here again.
