The hotel was beautiful, clean and well equipped. It was the perfect hotel with great food, close to everything while being peaceful at the same time. I am super picky and our room was gorgeous and spacious. I loved that it was within walking distance to the whole city and close to the train station, Parade Park, the Abbey, Roman Bath, and Pump Room/Assembly Hall. The air conditioning was wonderful too during this rare heat wave. We will be back!

Good location, old and dated. Due to aircon issues didn’t get the 3 rooms we booked. Alternative rooms clean however one room was a disability class room which was not a surperior/executive room. No fridge and heating didn’t work which was the original issue with original booked rooms. The room stunk of damp/urine. Breakfast cooked fresh was nice but slow. Buffet table had ants crawling on tables. So in a nut shell it’s up to you. Evening food was excellent.

Perfect location to be close to everything. Staff were lovely and very helpful.

Beautiful hotel, convenient location, friendly staff. One thing I will say is that it was rather unpleasant that we needed to walk through the dining room to get to our room and there was no elevator/lift to get there. This made it challenging with all of our luggage to carry up and down the stairs.

A simple check in and out, during an exciting World Cup time. All was great, no worries./

Perfect location!

From the moment we walked in superb. Fast no nonsense check in, and bags carried up to the room. Central location a must, inside/outside bat areas well kept and staffed. Breakfast very nice. Staff polite and helpful, special shout out for Emma our favourite. We will return

Our first impression was the gentleman at the front desk. He was friendly and helpful. Second, our room was perfect for one night. Overlooked a courtyard versus the street which seemed perfect. The seagulls can be chatty but seemed to quiet down as night time arrived. We were offered a cocktail at our arrival which was half pint of draught beer, house wine or soda. I expected a proper cocktail but was not too disappointed as the wine and beer were nice/tasty. Breakfast in the morning was SUPERB. Staff and food exceptional. Great place. Would stay again if in Bath.

There were a few problems but overall it was okay. It’s great if you want to be near the river and Abbey.
