Room was clean, roomy and comfortable. It was easy to find and close to LRT station. Included Breakfast was tasty, hot and good variety. Would definitely stay there again.

Great spot for kids and easy access to shops if you forgot something Didn’t notice noise from freeway

Staff were friendly and check in/check out was smooth! Negatives: - We were left with the very last bit of shampoo, body wash, & hand soap - minor but still inconvenient when you have hair as thick as mine! - Water pressure was also pretty weak. Positives: - The breakfast area was small, but it was well stocked, you had a direct view of the kitchen - it was clean, and the staff were complying with health codes!! - A/C worked! Like actually balanced and working - didn't run all night and leave us freezing. - Room was clean. Outdated, but you can tell it's been attentively cared for. There was almost no dust (even in places you'd expect to find it), no random stains on the bedding, floors or furniture, and the bathroom/shower didn't have any molding, rust spots or water stains. I was pretty impressed considering my luck with Super 8's has been rather low in the past.

The staff serving food is always very helpful and take pride in what they do. A big thank you!. The fresh waffles was awesome, kids loved it especially when they squeeze the canister of whipped topping over it. Recommend a variety of breakfast menu. The Same sausage links for breakfast daily could be boring for people who stay for over 5 days. I like the texture of the scrambled eggs offered though. Complimentary water with lemon slices by the front desk is always available! Housekeeping is always very positive helpful and polite. Shawnessy Super 8 location was awesome. You have all what you need around it. From a variety of food places to shopping establishments. . You don’t need to go further out. Everything is accessible within walking distance. The pool and water slides was an added perk, kids love it! Staff is super nice! Ironing board and iron is available upon request. Overall, very good service. I like it and will return. Thank you for a wonderful service.

The staff were very helpful. The room was only cleaned once during a 10 day stay. Towels were always available upon request at front desk. The breakfast was the same each day. Which found us searching for breakfast elsewhere for a change. What was offered was good. Just no variety. The hot tub and pool were a hit with the family!

We quite enjoyed our stay with a few minor issues. They do not supply any type of cup or glass in your room. The ice machines did not work. The hotel itself was very nice and the staff were helpful and polite. Great pool and slide. Decent breakfast.

Although you can tell the building is older, the suite was clean and there was complimentary breakfast that was decent . I find that $235 a night though is a bit pricey

The hotel is a touch older yet clean and well maintained. It is being updated. The breakfast was basic not a lot of room. The stay was made excellent by Marty in maintenance as the u it in or original room was going so was making a high pitched sound that was uncomfortable. Marty along with Maxie at the front desk arranged a different room in the same floor with a newer unit and helped me move our stuff. It is the people that make the experience.

Excellent area to stay in Calgary; there were lots of places to shop and eat. We had a relaxing stay overall. It is an older hotel and they are doing great upgrades. The bathrooms are a little small but good for the price point. The poll and hot tub needs some work and could be a bit more private- open to the lobby area but they could provide privacy shades over the windows. Overall very good experience and will stay again because the staff were very nice and super helpful and the location was amazingly convenient- a nice balance between commercial and residential location. ❤️
