Quiet , there were many deer about, the weather was nice sunny and very relaxing

close proximity to everything! Great property

Great place to stay if you’re visiting Carmel or Monterey. There was sufficient parking and the rooms were quite nice. However, I was disappointed with the breakfast. There was no hot coffee or any juices.

Breakfast was pretty good

The room we was not the room I picked out upon booking. The pictures showed a very clean suite. The room we got was an oversized studio with full kitchen. Bathroom light on outside of bathroom , stains were on all chairs and couch and the carpet was coming apart. The staff was friendly and moved us to another room per our request. New room was smaller than what we paid for but the bathroom was updated and clean. Chairs still had stains but carpet a little better shape. The breakfast had a broken juice dispenser and yogurt machine out of order. Property was very close to beach and tide pools so great location. I wanted to mention that the property looks to be renovating a couple rooms so maybe in the future, the rooms will be clean and updated.

Not the roomiest, but perhaps the cleanest room we’ve stayed in, in a very long time.

Great stay here, close to Monterey and Coast, however wish the ice maker worked or they had pool or hot tub at the very least, very nice rooms however, spacious, big screen TV, no AC but was cool enough didnt need it, would stay again!!

Smelled like the 70’s. Very dated and worn out. Way over priced.

The king with balcony was huge and very quiet. Bed was comfortable and everything worked fine. The property is well located with easy proximity to Asilomar Beach and not far from restaurants and shopping. On the need for improvement the heating system is very loud and the breakfast is not great. Adding a few more healthy choices would be great - plain yogurt, whole grain items, alternate milks and better coffee.

Great location, lots of space but it is very rundown. We have stayed at this hotel several times and have been happy but this time we were disappointed. Shower was clogged. Soap was empty and there were ants in the room. Mold on the walls and curtains and spider webs everywhere. Staff was great and moved us to another room but overall this place needs a major remodel. It’s sad. It used to be such a great place to stay.
