Property is beautiful. We were not there to golf, but the golf amenities were great. Nice location to quickly get to the tram to go into Edinburgh. Much bigger hotel than I realized. Our room was on the top and south facing. Room got really warm. The little fan in the room was not enough to cool things down much. Restaurant food at night was really good. Standard breakfast fair was good. Over all our experience was fine.

Good location for getting into Edinburgh and surrounding areas, golf course looks very well maintained.
Bathrooms could do with some modernisation (shower screens would be better than curtains!!).
Limited menu choices plus ordered same sandwich in 2 different bars and were completely different - better in Cocktail bar!!

the staff were wonderful, Very accommodating. lovely facilities and amenities.
5* Breakfast in a lovely restaurant.
Convinitent stauy for getting into Edinbrough taking either the X27 or X28
Would recommend.

Beautiful property and convenient to airport. I stayed there my last night in Edinburgh. Setting is peaceful and lovely. Only downside was that there was mildew in the caulking in the bathtub/shower, which was surprising given that the rest of the property was well maintained.

Beautiful hotel, great country club, pool and gym facilities are excellent. Let down by the old room with mouldy bath and broken shower.
Issues were reported to reception.
Food in the bar was very average, burger and chips, very basic. The bar decor is wonderful.
