Amazing staff that helped at every chance they could get. Will definitely be returning and will highly recommend this place to everyone.

The gardens around the property are beautiful, and all of the staff were warm, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the quality of the rooms is very inconsistent. The first room we were allocated was very old and tired, with a removable padlock on the door, a dated bathroom that looked stained and unclean, and no television, despite the Expedia listing stating that our room included one. After we queried the missing TV, the hotel moved us to another room. This room was significantly better and genuinely felt like we had checked into a different hotel. The property has a lot of charm and potential, but it doesn’t appear to have been maintained to the standard expected of a four-star resort. I also twisted my ankle after stepping into a gap in the stairs, which is a quite a safety hazard (see photo). Overall, I wouldn’t rate this as a 4-star property. In my opinion, it is closer to a 3-star resort. Given my experience, I’m also surprised by its 9.4 rating on Expedia, especially as I stayed at several other hotels in Bali that offered a much higher standard of accommodation and maintenance.

It's a beautiful tranquil escape from the busy city traffic and at the same time it's steps away from said city and shops when you're ready to venture out. Staff are extremely courteous and helpful. They made special decorative arrangements knowing we were staying there for our wedding anniversary. On mornings when we had 2am and 4am wakeup calls for our excursions they prepared breakfast boxes and had them for us as we passed reception on way out. We stayed in the villa with private pool. Minor remark is that the shower plumbing had noticable wear and cracks causing water to spray in directions outside of the shower stall. It was fine for us and didn't affect our satisfaction. For the relative price of this place you're getting +++ value compared to small run-down hotel rooms in western countries. We would definitely come back!

My partner and I stayed at Arma Hotel for 3 nights on holiday. This resort was the oasis we needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Here we were able to be present and felt grounded by the nature within the resort. The grounds are beautifully kept. The museum was a wonderful way to get to know the heart of Balinese culture. We met painters while wandering around the museum and loved getting to know them and hearing about their work. The people are extremely friendly and genuinely interested in connecting with you and helping you get what you are looking for out of your stay. The front desk was very accessible, and we were able to communicate with them seamlessly through WhatsApp, where they helped us schedule our activities for the following day. There’s a really special energy throughout the space, with a strong sense of gratitude and authenticity that you can feel during your stay. If you are looking to get to know the heart of the Balinese people through art, nature, and spirituality, then this is the place for you. We also highly recommend the golden hour tour!

Our room was huge and spotlessly clean. The nearby pool was quiet and refreshing. The grounds are what makes this hotel outstanding. It’s like living in a palace garden with so many ferns and flowers. Highly recommend!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 8 night stay at the Arma museum and resort, we stayed in a villa with a private pool. This resort is for those looking for peaceful, lush green surrounding which have been beautifully and lovingly maintained. Our villa was spacious and had a rustic authentic Balinese charm, not polished and sterile but clean and full of character. Each and every member of staff was helpful and polite, a real credit to the resort. 100% recommended

A nice aspiring resort (a little on the smaller side compared to some larger). Service is very good, they really try to make you happy. Breakfast is solid. Location also is good, across the street from grocery store, walking distance to downtown and motorbike rental.

We loved everything about the resort…the friendly staff, the breakfast was amazing with so much to choose from, the grounds were beautifully kept, the room clean and spacious…outstanding! We also took in two performances and the art museum. We highly recommend this wonderful resort.

The Arma Museum and Resort is an outstanding place. The staff is wonderful, attentive, friendly, and super efficient. The gounds are beautiful beyond compare and the breakfast is fabulous. We've stayed at the Arma 4 times and we'll be back!
