We had an incredible stay at Gion Mizen Furumonzen and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Everything was perfect across the board.
The location is ideal. It is situated in a quiet, peaceful area, yet it is only a short walking distance to the train station and the main streets for shopping and dining. It is the perfect balance of convenience and tranquility.
The room itself was spacious and super clean. The bathroom was the highlight of our stay, as the shower and bathtub setup is amazing. They also provide a large selection of thoughtful, high-quality toiletries. Additionally, the air conditioning worked perfectly, which made for a very comfortable stay.
The service was excellent, and the staff was incredibly friendly. We also appreciated the convenience of having a 24-hour laundry facility right across the street, and the hotel even provided us with free detergent pods, which was a huge help.
We would absolutely stay here again!

Surprisingly large room, very nice fancy bathroom. Only regret is not staying longer. It’s very unassuming on the outside but has very nice rooms and great staff.

超讚 There is a 24-hour convenience store and coin laundry opposite the hotel, both well within a minute walk. The washer and dryer are well maintained and clean by the owner of the laundromat. Hotel is nicely located, walking distance to transport and downtown Gion.
