Great time of year to go . Nice an quite

Lovely motel very clean and tidy rooms had plenty of space, very comfortable and relaxing. Highly recommend.

Booked a standard double room for 2 nights, was upgraded by the lovely staff to deluxe twin which had recently been renovated to a high standard. Buffet breakfast inclusive in price was delicious! Easy drive to Milford Sound. Would recommend and would stay again!

Staff were incredibly helpful and the breakfast had a very good choice of options.

Pros:great location, free downtown parking, great breakfast with modern remodeled restaurant Cons: the room is in disparate need of updating, the carpet was moldy smelling, air vents were dirty, furniture was dirty, the TV only has a couple of local channels

This is a two star hotel parading as four. The rooms are OK but the hotel is basically a tour group sleep-over for Milford Sound. The pricing is outrageous for the quality. The buffet breakfast simply awful. Parking is convenient, although open air and good location to the only EV charger anywhere between Queenstown and Milford.

Thankfully, I booked a premium room- which has very clearly been redone in recent years. The bathroom and bed was lovely- but truth be told, the hotel itself is so, so old and outdated. Lack of lighting, dark and do finger… you could also smell the scent of cigarettes in the lobby. It literally felt like an old hospital/psych wards… I’d recommend it if it’s a quick one night stay, but sheesh- weird, and overpriced for what it was…

We had a wonderful stay at the Distinction Luxmore!! Room was clean and tidy upon our arrival, and incredibly comfortable - one of the nicest beds we’ve ever had in any class of accomodation. Plenty of parking and an excellent location right in the middle of town. Highly recommended!!

everything was spotless in the entire facility. I’ll be at somewhat older looked quite excellent.
