Pros: good breakfast with lots of options which changed throughout the trip One lady on reception went out of her way to help us Pool looked nice although we did not use it Gym was well-equipped Cons: very hard, uncomfortable beds. Thin walls, no soundproofing at all (and yes, I do expect this in a hotel! It's not a ryokan) It was quite grubby - the whole hotel needs a deep clean, not just a superficial one The rooms/facilities are very dated and tired. The photos are out of date and the stay felt expensive for what it was.

This hotel has a great view, spacious room, great breakfast.

Location

Instruction was not given for housekeeping and thus room was not cleaned upon returning. Front Desk check-out was not accommodating in our request.

Nice location

It sits right on the beautiful beach. We enjoyed dining outside and gazing out over the white sands and blue waters. We could walk right out to the pool area, and from the pool to the beach. Kumejima is gorgeous and interesting, and we greatly enjoyed our stay.

Two pools empty with dirt and sand on bottom. Jacuzzi both empty and dirty. Tennis courts no nets and covered in sand dunes. Putting green no flags and overgrown. Beach covered with trash. Building falling apart and safety hazards everywhere. Rooms were nice but wood floors and being put on bottom floor kept us up all night. Onsen was good with a nice view.
