Clean room, great location.

I cannot fault our stay.

Property had prime location (about 15 minutes from big bed, Buckingham palace) amazing staff, 2 great restaurants on site, breakfast, paid, but price is reasonable and it’s very convenient. Rook was cleaned daily and we got 2 huge complementary bottles of water, one will, one sparkling, every time they cleaned the room. There was a gym on premises but we didn’t go there, so can’t comment on that. Outside in the front was a foose ball table and a ping pong table and tables and chairs from the on site restaurant that we were welcome to use to watch the World Cup on the tv outside. Some negatives, room setup wasn’t great. It was tiny with the 2 queen beds which were almost touching practically against the walls. Wasn’t much else that fit in the room. We booked like 10 months ahead and got a view of interior walls and I was told there were no other rooms with 2 queen size beds available. But we didn’t come to London to stay in the room, so these things didn’t bother me enough to lower the rating. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a nice stay. First room, however, was way too small, not as advertised. When we saw it first, we went down to the reception, and they gave us bigger room, matching what we booked. They have an excellent restaurant with very tasty food for dinners, and the prices were good. There is an Indian restaurant with excellent food, as well, in the same building, plus a couple of other ones. We didn't try breakfast, but it looked great and highly varied. Room was quiet, clean, comfortable, had a small fridge, kettle, tea/coffee. There is an elevator, and the location is very central. Staff was nice. You can store your bags for free before check-in (3 pm) or after checkout (11 am). Would recommend this hotel and stay again.

Location is ideal. Check in staff very nice. We had a room that was a very far walk. Complicated to get to and no help with luggage. Was very hot and they turn off air conditioning. Two single beds and they were extremely uncomfortable. Not a great value for the price.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Wellington Hotel by Blue Orchid during our recent trip to London. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff were welcoming, helpful, and accommodating. We were even able to check in a little earlier than the standard check-in time. After settling into our first room, we realized it did not have a refrigerator, which we needed to store medication. The staff responded quickly and kindly found another available room that accommodated our family of four and included a refrigerator. Their prompt assistance was greatly appreciated. Our room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with air conditioning, which made our stay especially pleasant. The hotel’s location is excellent. It’s within walking distance of many of London’s iconic attractions, including Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, and Westminster Abbey. The nearby Tube station made it easy to explore every part of the city. We also loved having several wonderful neighborhood cafés and restaurants just a short walk away. Whether we were grabbing a morning coffee and pastry or enjoying dinner after a day of sightseeing, there were plenty of great local options nearby that added to the overall experience. We had a wonderful stay and would happily choose the Wellington Hotel by Blue Orchid again on a future visit to London.

This is a gem of a hotel! It is well maintained, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. There is a good bar/sitting area and a lovely outside courtyard for drinks and dining. The room was comfortable, clean and well appointed, with toiletries provided. A superb hotel in the centre of London!

Staff seemed helpful when we checked in, never mentioned to tell us we were o the 5th floor, elevator only went to the 4th, had to carry the suitcases up and down. Positives, great part of london

Nice location. Walking distance to most tourist attractions but also on a quiet street so quiet at night. AC worked well during the worst heat wave London has ever seen.
