The property claimed to have good running a/c. When this was brought to their attention they claimed they could properly cool our room. It was during a heat wave and they never were able to properly cool the room. They then switched me to another room in the middle of the night and it was even warmer. I would not stay at this hotel.

More than excellent!! They make your stay uncomfortable!!!

Excellent location on the Grand Canal with a private dock and courtyard seating. Easy walk from the train station. Staff was excellent, very professional and accommodating. The room was a little small but clean.

The staff were very helpful and gave us helpful tips on where to eat, excellent recommendation by the way. Breakfast offered were very good with lots of choices. Our room was clean but dated and overall, the exterior of the building needs some paint if they are to advertise as high-end boutique hotel, which they are. Location is fantastic, right by the Canal Grande. Watch out though, if you are travelling by train, it may be walking distance but if you have luggage, going up and down the high bridge may be a challenge. We had to hire a porter service, and they are quite ingenious in how they use their hand trolley to maneuver the steps.

Beautiful hotel. Tranquil and quiet in a very busy city. Exactly what we needed. You do have to sign up for kids to swim.

The staff was amazing, from the front desk to the bartenders, they were all so wonderful, polite and hospitable. The location of the hotel was beautiful and convenient, across the street from the train station but far enough not to feel the business of the station. We enjoyed relaxing with our drinks outside enjoying the view of the Grand Canal from the deck outside the hotel.

Overall, this was a wonderful stay. The best part of this hotel was the staff. From the moment I contacted them about my transfer, from the airport to the hotel, they were so pleasant. They were not only on top of all communication, but very helpful through it all. Our flight changed twice and I had to reach out to change my transfer and they were wonderful. Everyone that we interacted with during our stay was so friendly and helpful and seemed genuinely concerned that we have everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The hotel was clean and very comfortable. Daily breakfast was nice as well. My only suggestion would be that perhaps the drapes need to be cleaned more often, because I think they were a little dusty, which caused me to have some allergies. Other than this, the room was spotless and lovely for our stay in Venice.

Our stay was amazing! The staff was super helpful and accommodating. Not only did they offer to book restaurant reservations for us in the city at the last minute, they also called and took care of the water taxi for our arrival at the airport early the next morning. They had breakfast ready earlier than normal to accommodate us. The hotel itself is beautiful, centrally located with amazing views. The staff went above and beyond and we will be happy to return in the future.
