Extremely good location, clean, friendly. Recommend

The room was always clean. The personnel were very helpful. The bathroom had a strange configuration with the toilet down the hall from the sink and shower. And there were no towel racks and not much storage space for our clothes. That is the only reason for 4 stars rather than 5. Otherwise it was a very nice room with air conditioning during a horrible heat wave. It was nice to have restaurants on the property. And it was near the tube and train station.

The Standard London exceeded our expectations. The food was fantastic, especially breakfast. The staff was excellent as well. The location near King’s Cross was perfect, just across the street, making it easy to get around using the tube.

I checked in with a dog and they were so lovely, gave us a bed and bowls and made us very welcome. I ordered room service just coffee and a breakfast chia bowl - this wasn’t good value or good taste. Gorgeous view of St Pancras but I hoped to spend the morning on the roof with my dog in the sun and he wasn’t allowed there: I understand rules but I wish it said that as he was welcome everywhere else and it’s why I booked the hotel.

Great convenient based hotel

Really great hotel, super convenient, quiet inner room and room was very spacious

Check in was terrible. I was asked if I was alright with a window less room. I felt that there were things about my booking that should have been made clearer before booking. I was not offered to change my windowless room, I was not asked if I was a Hyatt member nor was I offered any of the perks for being a Expedia Platinum member. Also, £100 per night on my card for incidentals ?? Apart from this, I would recommend this hotel as the rest of the staff were lovely, windowless rooms were clean and it is in a great location.

They went above and beyond. My wife and 2 kids got food poisoning, or so we think, while staying and the staff were amazingly helpful and supportive of us. We honestly would have been so much more stressed without them. They helped and cleaned and took care of us. We can’t be more thankful.
