Bright, and clean hotel room with good shower and everything I needed including mini fridge

No working lift and poor room servicing. When I arrived the lift was broken, it was fixed the next day and then it broke again and wouldn't be fixed until after I left. I don't think this is acceptable for a 6 floor hotel when you have a case to carry up and down the stairs. The time to fix it was blamed on "Lazy Germans" by the receptionist. The bigger issue was around room cleaning, it took 2 days before they told me I needed to book my room cleaning on an app, once I did they might have done a quick hoover and replaced the towels. They didn't make the bed or replace the sheets, which was required as we had the 3 hottest days in German history while I was there. They also did not replace the empty soap dispenser or the tea and coffee, sugar etc. I don't think this was up to the standard of Wyndhams I have stayed in before and I was very disappointed with the level of service.

The staff were very helpful and kind. It was confusing how dirty and stained the carpets were throughout the hotel - both in the room and the hallways. There was a miscommunication regarding cleaning services which meant the room cleaning I ordered did not happen.

Breakfast just fine, fresh and enough. The hotel is not far from Königsallee and Central station. Altstadt is a bit further away, but still walking distance.

Easy friendly check in. Room was a bit dated, but had a good quiet sleep.

I never had heating in my room and there wasn't hot water. We could not have a shower. It's really freezing here. This is unacceptable. They just told me to ask for a refund which I want. Please keep me posted This is supposed to be a 4 star hotel.

3 blocks from the Dusseldorf Christmas Markets, clean spacious rooms and helpful staff speaks English.

Service on low level, small rooms with a bed and TV. Poor breakfast.

Nice stay, very friendly reception staff.

Nice room, close to railway station.
