I really enjoyed my stay, It was very clean, and the staff was excellent. The parking was confusing and trying to navigate from parking to the room. After so many times I finally got the hang of it he two levels of parking. Over all I would stay again.

Didn’t have a lot of handicap parking spaces. Would be better if it were some on each level in the parking garage.

Location is great, stayed in beach front balcony with ocean view. Pool, 24 hours access to gym which is again facing ocean was excellent view. Breakfast was good and there is a lot space and different types of chair, sofa etc with Balcony helps to relax indoors or outdoor seating area. Just that toiletries were empty when we entered but they filled it and placed within minutes when we called the reception. It was a relaxing stay!

I checked in on 6/27-6/30. Within booking the reservation, I requested for a clean room and noted that we have an autistic child. However upon arrival, the front desk agent tells my husband that she didn't see any notes in our reservation. We were assigned a filthy room. I took pictures and thankfully we brought our own cleaning supplies. We informed the front staff of the poor condition of the room (it was night time when we checked in) and was informed that "they were completely booked" and to contact the front staff tomorrow morning. We called the front desk the next day, and was informed that housekeeping will be dispatched, but didn't specify the time. Housekeeping finally shows up around 5:30pm and our child was eating. We told the housekeeper to give us 30 minutes. Housekeeping never returned... We contacted front desk a couple more times, and both times we were immediately forwarded to the "housekeeping manager" I left a voicemail. No one called me back. I understand the pressure of a high volume hotel, however the front desk at Residence Inn by Marriott Myrtle Beach Oceanfront lack basic customer service skills . The front staff and housekeeping are RUDE and DO NOT CARE. The owner of the hotel really needs to listen to the complaints on line and assess their staff.. All it takes is bad staff to ruin the reputation and brand of a hotel...

Clean rooms nice facility great view … staff very helpful plenty of nice restaurants in the area

Would I rebook? No. The staff and the overall location were great! However the room itself which is the most important for me as part of booking a hotel (beside customer service) was not clean. We found multiple pieces of hair in the shower, we let our baby crawl around in the room and shortly realized his socks were BLACK, leading me to believe they don’t mop the rooms. They also didn’t supply extra toilet paper (we only had one roll for the entire stay which thankfully we ended up using up the day we left) I understand that certain things may not be done after each check out to be more efficient and turn Rooms over quickly but things like hair in the shower shouldn’t been found.

Our room was fantastic exactly what I booked. Beautiful oceanfront room. Continental breakfast was good and different options. Would definitely stay here again! All staff was very nice

Dirty room, staff doesn’t clean or even make the bed for you

Our stay was very disappointing due to multiple issues with cleanliness, housekeeping, and customer service. Upon arrival, our room did not have a television remote, and we only had one set of towels. I called both the front desk and housekeeping three separate times requesting towels and a remote. After receiving no resolution, my husband had to go to the front desk in person. Even then, he was asked to wait 30–45 minutes because the receptionist stated they “did not know where maintenance was” to provide a remote. The towels did not arrive until late Friday, meaning we had already spent two days with only one set of towels and no way to operate the television. There was also trash outside our room that appeared to have been swept out during cleaning before our arrival. It remained there until Saturday, giving the impression that the area was not being properly maintained. The notice in the bathroom stated that rooms would receive limited cleaning every two days. However, despite staying three days, our room was never cleaned. We even confirmed there was no “Do Not Disturb” sign hanging on our door. Additionally, the floors in the lobby and elevator areas remained noticeably dirty throughout our entire stay, which further reflected a lack of attention to cleanliness. Finally, there was ongoing construction behind and/or near the hotel that significantly limited direct beach access. We were never informed of this before our arrival.

Staff, especially front desk clerk Wayne was super helpful. The housekeeping team did a nice job- very clean room at arrival and kind, but took multiple times calling and being on hold to get fresh towels because they were so busy. Breakfast (food and staff) was exceptional and plentiful. Pool amenities were good, but not as good as other hotels at this price point. (Towel staff was very accomodating.) The beach was being reclaimed and there was a small sign posted with a QR code for info, would have been good to know before booking a week stay with an oceanfront room. Couldn't get to the beach for 3 of the 5 day stay.
