Room was dirty there was dead bugs all over my bed in which I had to change my own sheets on my birthday was not happy about that ! The elevator was broken and hallways were extremely HOT ! Was a very unpleasant experience for my 1st time in Detroit for a downtown hotel

Staff were GREAT! BUT.... This comfort in was in such a sketchy area- lots of folks standing around outside the building, it made myself and others noticeably uncomfortable-- I could tell because a lot of people that stayed, were there for the Chris and Usher concert. BABYYY we had a double bed and the bathroom door was literally a loose sliding door doesn't lock or anything. Smoke alarm was hanging from the ceiling, stains on the ceiling, overall small room, and the upstairs smelled like a bowling alley. Breakfast was ok just a small space- we decided to bring our breakfast upstairs. Lastly when we arrived the elevator was out of service so naturally, we had to carry all our items up to the 3rd floor (this was out of their control but definitely ruined the vibe off rip)

Elevator didn' work. Bathroom door was a sliding door that didn't fully close. AC in the room didn't work well (the room never really cooled down).

Property is old. No shower. Had a handheld No safety grab bars in bathroom. Our view was a garbage dumpster. We were lucky being on first floor . Elevators were broken. Way overpriced

Don't waste your money! It's in a shady area. Our flight was delayed so we got in late (around 1 am). Music was blaring from across the street. You could hear everything in the room. At 2 am motorcycles came in the parking lot revving their engines for at least 5 minutes. Detroit must be the city that never sleeps! Curtains wouldn't close all the way and were dirty. Had to download an app on my phone for white noise to drown out everything outside. The room was non smoking, but we kept smelling cigarette smoke. When I walked outside of my room, I smelled cigarette smoke in the hall. All the rooms said non smoking. Only plus side was the room was clean. The bed was tiny as the description online wasn't much help and the room I rented was handicapped (by accident). The desk lady told me that and I told her it must have been a mistake. Told her to give me a different room and she wouldn't. She said I must have booked the "cheapest room". I wouldn't consider $170 cheap, especially from 1 am to 11 am. The pics and reviews online are deceiving. We just needed a place to sleep for the night as we were traveling north the next day. Just didn't get alot of sleep due to all the noise.

Elevator did not work, rooms were not very clean, bed sheets had stain on them. Also, the shuttle driver was extremely rude, it was pouring rain and he dropped us off 8 minutes away during a rainstorm. There was someone who has a disability she had called ahead of time, and they told us all that we would be dropped off at the event. He kept cutting her off saying who ever told her that lied.

Needs some up keep in the rooms

Someone hit my car while I was in it and kept going. Parking to too stuffed. Rooms and property not well kept.

Clean room
