No staff no front desk

Great property

Great place with the separate bedroom, with a nice kitchen. There was a good view of part of the city, and the place overall was worth it. Very convenient downtown location, though the street noise at nights on the weekend was a little loud at times, but not really anything out of the ordinary for a busy downtown spot. Would definitely stay here again next time I’m looking for a place in downtown Detroit for more than a night or 2.

The room was immaculate and the kitchen had everything needed,plus washer and dryer! Coffee was provided and there is an ice machine. The virtual front desk was very attentive and answered any questions within seconds. Very close to Riverwalk, Greek town, Comerico and Ford Field. Very safe. We will be back!

The room was clean, having a nice operating kitchen was a great touch. I had no idea the queen bed was inside of its own decently sized bedroom I really liked that. Sofa bed put in some work too.

I loved the stay and was going to tell everyone how wonderful it was, UNTIL we checked out and they blamed a broken lamp on us and charged us a damage fee. We did not break the lamp, we think the cleaners did and blamed us.

I definitely will not be staying at Kasa Cadillac again. First issue was the pull out sofa that was broken and pieces were on the floor. The bed pulled out and was at a slant. They said they couldn’t do anything about it until morning because all onsite workers were gone. And that if they were unable to fix the sofa they would provide an air mattress. I’m sorry but at that point your stay should be free. If I wanted to sleep on an air mattress I’d go camping. Next issue was the bed in the bedroom. It creaked so much that you couldn’t even move a leg without making a lot of noise. It wasn’t just a slight creak. It was the sound of the entire frame making noise. On top of that the mattress was covered in stains. Not just a couple but covered in many. The next morning one of the provided bath towels had the corner completely torn to the point it was hanging on by a thread. But shouldn’t have been surprised considering the stained mattress and the sheet that was left on the pull out with black marks on it. Then finally they advertise that they have a coffee bar in each room. If one bag of decaf coffee and some tea bags count then I guess they provide that service. I was highly disappointed. I’ve had better service at a 2 star hotel.

I stayed for two nights and it was clean and nice! the only thing i would say is we had to mess with the fuse box for the plugs to work but after we figured that out i have no complaints!!

I can see that the baseline of the hotel was meant to be very comfortable. It would have been so, if not for something I found when I got to the room. There was a random anxiety medication pill on the bed, that was supposed to be cleaned. Evidence pointed to housekeeping done, but the pill on the bed put me off. Communication was ok. There was no one on site, which I thought was odd, given they were at max capacity. Text message and emails were returned promptly, but it felt more like AI than it did an actual blood in their veins person. I was told the earliest they could address the pill on the bed was 24 hours later. Which, served me no good since I was staying for one night. They said they were sorry multiple times and that they would strive to do better for the next guest. No real resolution to my problem though.
