Be advised this hotel is directly across from the train station and as such train noise is prevalent until very late at night if you book a city view.

Great location, can walk everywhere. Only stayed one night and breakfast was pretty good. Could hear the trains on our side of the building, as it was close to the train station. ( We chose this so we could walk to the hotel, and it didn't bother other family members)

Stayed here for 3 nights while in Florence. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the train station and about a 10 minute walk to the Duomo so for us was perfect.
While the hotel is a little dated it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Our room was at the opposite side of the hotel to the tram lines but we could still hear the rumblings as trams passed. This didn’t affect us or our sleep. The staff were very friendly, helpful and always on hand. Would recommend staying at this hotel if you want to be away from the tourist chaos when you walk out of your hotel. Plenty of restaurants within a few minutes walk from the hotel.

We were upgraded to a balcony room with a view of the city centre and main duomo, this room was quiet being at the other side of property not facing the main train station.
Speaking of transportation, 3min walk when arriving by train and the tram is at your door.
We walked the city easily from here.
Room was good, bathroom small which is normal in Europe
Great selection of breakfast options
Staff were friendly and helpful
