I love this hotel. It's lovely and well priced. My only complaint is the AC is so loud - but otherwise love it.

We recently stayed one night at the Magnolia Hotel in downtown Houston and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is conveniently located, making it easy to access nearby attractions and restaurants. The property was clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. The staff was exceptionally helpful throughout our stay. Check-in and check-out were both quick and hassle-free, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. The valet attendants were polite, professional, and very efficient—they had our vehicle ready promptly whenever we needed it. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which offered a good variety of options and was a great way to start the day. Overall, the Magnolia Hotel provided excellent service, a comfortable stay, and a convenient downtown location. We would definitely stay here again.

The TV in my room didn't work, and the Maintenance person went above and beyond to make sure the TV worked.

Everything was great. The location was great and the hotel parking was easy, and affordable compared to most hotel parking.

The building is not well maintained. They still have the original single pane windows that open, which seems like a tremendous safety hazard not to mention they make it really hot. Our window on the 12th floor was broken and “fixed” with tape. The first room had a broken a/c so we got a new room with a broken window and stained carpet. The whole building smells musty, moldy and gross. Tons of dings and scratches all over walls and even ceilings???? How does that happen? I called the number to the restaurant and was transferred FOUR times before someone would take my order. Anyhow, food was decent and staff was nice but the facility itself needs better upkeep.

One of the primary reasons I selected the hotel was the pool amenity; however, upon arrival, I learned the pool was not open. This closure was not disclosed on the website or communicated prior to my stay. Additionally, I was not informed that a prom event would be taking place the evening of my arrival. The event significantly impacted the atmosphere and guest experience, including changes to the restaurant service. Instead of the expected dining experience, the restaurant was relocated to another space that felt more like a pickup area than a proper restaurant setting. Had these conditions been communicated in advance, I would have had the opportunity to make a more informed decision regarding my accommodations.

Suggestions & Ideas; The smallest details matter. Need a microwave in room along with frig. Lil scraps of wet paper was left in bathroom and the bumper on bathroom door was falling off. Overall was a good visit
