We were meant to stay 4 nights, but only stayed 1, as 1 hour after arriving and relaxing by the pool my shoes got knicked by a staff member. After noticing they were gone we asked the staff and they 'had not seen them anywhere', even after the manager checked all staff bags as they were leaving for the day - That says enough as is. After 12 hours of constant pressure to check the cameras the manager finally showed us and proof the staff member took them. 'Miraculously' the shoes showed up after we said we would involve the police and all of a sudden the staff had seen them. We rebooked in Denarau for the final 3 nights, best decision we made. The good points about the place? The pool was lovely - albeit small, the grounds are immaculate, they do the fire dancing, and the oceanfront bures are a real cultural experience compared to other options around. However, the road to get there is interesting. A dirt road that goes past an open burning crematorium that is all of 400m down the road and when the wind blows right the resort is rather...unpleasant smelling. We had one of the rooms on ground floor of the large building and we wouldn't recommend. Dated, not clean, and we came away after 1 night with bites all over us from the bed. Take that as you will. Our one savior was the customer services woman - Duri. She was fantastic, and so lovely at helping us to track down the shoes and transport to our next resort.

This is a hidden Gem

This is a basic resort. No tv in the rooms Meals are very basic no great meals available. Pools are clean and inviting. Rooms are ok just not great.

Wonderful staff! We arrived at night ,& planned to leave next morning. Their guidance on when bus would arrive to take to islands was correct (9:10 am) & we made it taks to them. Whereas avice from ferry company said 9:30, do we would have missed our bus.

I stayed in an ocean front bure, they are older Fijian style beach huts/cottage, which was exactly what I wanted. They do have newer renovated rooms elsewhere on the property. Remember this is a small locally owned and operated resort. In if you are looking for amazing views and peace and quiet, this is the place. There are 2 restaurants and the food was great. The bar is a nice place to wind down for the night, watch a game, play pool or get your morning lattee. I had my tours pre-planned but they had an office there to help you. All the staff were very friendly. Club Fiji comes as advertised, if you are looking for Ritz or a luxury Hotel and Casino, then this authentic Fijian resort is probably not for you, however if you want to meet some locals experience true Fijian culture and just relax on beach and grounds between tours or flights, I can’t recommend Club Fiji enough. The Fijian Nights with music and authentic dances was great! The views are second to none! I enjoyed my stay!

The property is in need of repairs or replacements. Very outdated. The bathroom shower could use some Clorox, mold everywhere. Bathroom sink has a drain issue. Floors are made out of wood. They are old and squishy in the bathrooms. The pool, grounds and location are excellent. They need help bringing the resort up to standards.

The beach was nice, we had all that we needed for an airport layover. We would definitely not recommend coming to spend a holiday at this “resort”, it was comparable to a motel quality hotel stay, and the pictures painted a very different experience to the reality of the quality of the hotel as a “resort” style hotel.
