Great location didn’t use much of the amenities but seemed to be well maintained

Our room had stains on the walls and I found 2 pieces of trash. Our bath tub drain was not working but they fixed it. The staff had a bit of an attitude. I spoke to about 3 at the front desk. Garden/ fish pond was the best part. Pool was small for such a large hotel. Gym was weird they had pelotons and you have to sign in to use. When we checked in the girl at the front desk never offered me a receipt and just pointed to the elevators and said your all set. Not other information. I will never stay here again. I rather take my $500 and spend it at a better hotel with better service. We stayed for 3 nights and the staff never came to clean our room even when I took the sign off the door. The cafe food and staff were the reason for the three stars!

Hotel Burbank let us have a perfect, stress-free trip! Check-in was quick and efficient with a very kind staff member. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. We didn’t use the cafe on this trip, but knowing it was available was great peace of mind especially when you never know when a kid is going to get hungry or need a snack when they’re off-schedule! I hate that paying to park at the property you’re paying to say in is a thing, but that’s obviously not exclusive to here.

Our room (an “Executive King” on Expedia) was spacious and comfortable for 3 nights. The room and building are a little dated but well-maintained. In-room amenities were fine - they could update the coffee machines, though. Same with the hotel cafe in the lobby and the lounge on one of the upper floors - won’t win awards but hit the spot. Location near BUR - but not too near - was great for our needs. There’s a restaurant district a short stroll away with a lot of variety. Overall, a good deal for the price. Would stay again. Thst said, some problems: the hotel’s airport shuttle never showed up when we arrived, even after we called twice to verify it was on its way. After waiting an hour we took a cab. Related the story to the desk staff, and also via email on Expedia, but got no response other than “I’m sorry” at the desk. Also, our “Mountain View” room had a view mostly of the other tower of the hotel. We could see Mt. Lee in Griffith Park if we looked the right way, but that’s it. We didn’t come for the view so I only notified the hotel via Expedia email - no response. The service staff we interacted with were all great, so this seems like a management issue.

The hotel could use a major modernizing upgrade. While there is a certain charm, decorating-wise it’s a bit tired. That said it was generally clean and I have to compliment the staff that seemed well-trained and helpful when I needed them. My room wasn't ready well after check-in time, but the agent upgraded me to a suite without hesitation. Short walk to the food, business, and entertainment district which was nice. Oh, and while the “outside” elevators were novel, they are not well temperature controlled and were quite hot in the afternoons and evenings. Would not want to get stuck in one if there was a mechanical issue.

I stayed 4 nights with my family and all I can say it had everything we needed to stay comfortably four our stay. Quick response and clean well kept hotel.

Never received my 5am wake up call to make my flight because telephone service was temporarily down. Not professional.
