It was 1 hour past check in when I arrived and the front desk person, who was also valet, told me my room was still not ready. When I was visibly annoyed she seemed irritated as well, like I should understand that my room might not be ready. That was a super turn off.

Hallways and carpeting are old and would use a refresh The room how ever was very well furnished , and clean Staff are nice and helpful

This was a really fun place to stay! A very cool, historic and artsy building! A really cool neighborhood in downtown as well. The rooms are on the smaller side. I was traveling alone so the size of the room wasn't an issue. I would stay here once again. The staff was extremely helpful and so nice! The only complaint that I have is that the lobby was not air conditioned. The staff at the front desk had to be miserable!!

The room was nice and very clean. The shower leaked. The breakfast area was disgusting. We saw a cockroach by the food. The salsa was fermented. The second day the breakfast opened 45 minutes late. The fruit was very old. The eggs were cold on the first day. My feet stuck to the floor in the breakfast area.The lady at the desk was wonderful when we checked in.

The air conditioning was very difficult to control, either too hot or too cold. Pocket door to bathroom broke and we were unable to enter bathroom for a certain time. Eventually repaired.

The property has been recently renovated. The room and bathroom were both clean and comfortable in size for the city. However the hotel controls the air conditioning in your room and you can’t lower it past 68 degrees, which it never reached so the thing ran on and off all through the night. My husband barely slept. For what we paid per night, we should be able to control the room temperature, especially at bedtime after an 85 degree day. The breakfast was nothing special; typical hotel spread. The neighborhood was walkable and had a number of lively restaurants and bars nearby. Rentable bikes were located across the corner of the hotel.

Great stay!

Definitely not Marriott quality. Day staff was amazing and helpful. Night staff could care less. Housekeeping was non existent. Had to request toilet paper, towels, trash wasnt taken out- little things you expect at a hotel. Rooms are clean but unbelievably small. 3 nights costing $1200 we were hoping for some amenities. Air went out and we were rudely told no engineer was on duty. It's June in Philadelphia and hot so we got box fans, what? Recommend going somewhere else and not wasting your money.
