Got a great deal via Expedia for this hotel and it had an amazing view of the lake. I got breakfast as part of my booking and is the best combination because of the location it will be harder to get breakfast and enjoy it on site. The hotel also had free bike you can borrow with helmet. The hotel is less than 10 min away from the tram. Right across from the hotel you can enjoy water fountain to refill spring water and there is another one at the tram station. Breakfast options has a wide variety and really fresh. In the main lobby there is free Apple and they provide two bottles of water every day. Staff are very friendly in general and of course there is always the one off. Due to the heat wave I barely felt any AC but able to get two fan for my room. I had an amazing experience in this location and highly recommend.

Beautiful property, amazing views, spacious rooms, and located in nature for beautiful hikes and scenery. The food was amazing!

The hotel is in a great location with beautiful views across the lake to the snow topped mountains in the distance. Very friendly and helpful staff, great food and is in a quiet area. The local tram stop is only a couple of minutes walk away and a short journey takes into the centre of Zurich.

Great location for hotel with views over Zurich and lake. Room was very clean and housekeeping team were excellent, however the rooms need air conditioning rather than a portable fan which couldn’t cope with the heat of the room

Our family of four stayed one night in the Sorell. We loved it! Beautiful grounds for a lovely dinner. We could see the mountains in the distance over the lake, what a view! The kids were able to play on swings and see saw. Adorable!

Loved the Sorell Boutique in Zurich. Absolutely beautiful area and views. Easy to get into downtown Zurich using the tram from the zoo. Super staff! Loved our waiter, Oliver, who took our breakfast order. So professional and friendly. Our room was just perfect for our first 2 nights of our two week trip to Switzerland. Looking forward to spending our last night there before we head home.

The best location for lake and mountain views. This is the real Swiss experience.

The team welcomed us well, we noticed in interxonnecting door that would be great to have open but was key locked, on speaking to reception it’s was not a problem and in no time a member of the team was in and opening. They recommended a great place to eat on our first evening after a long day of travelling. Coupled with amazing views we had a great stay thank you.

Clean room and views were amazing
