I booked the room for my adult offspring directly with the front desk clerk. He and I had a clear conversation about the son would check in. I walked out and my son arrived within 5 minutes if me leaving. Sooner than I expected. The hotel clerk treated my kid as if he had never heard of him. I needed to be called and my debit card needed to be confirmed and all the stuff. It was weird. And my son says that the lack of cleanliness set a new standard for him. So there you go.

Staff is wonderful

I was quickly checked in by friendly staff. The hotel is an old hotel and much of the original plaster detailing, light fixtures, wood paneling was restored and there. You aren't in any hotel--this one has some character. My room was smaller and had less bells and whistles, but the rate was lower and I wanted a clean safe comfortable convenient room--I got it all. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Convenient location, looking to return.

I am satisfied with my stay at the Mosser. I booked the queen room with attached bathroom. The location is great with a lot of public transit options in within short walking distance. Trader joes, Ross and multiple options for bars and restaurants are within a few mtrs of the hotel. The room itself is basic, clean, ventilated with good thick mattress. I had the room on 7th floor. It has a lot of windows and light. There are fans in the room so it was not stuffy. The bathroom is decent sized. I appreciate the way its all been designed considering its a really old building. The only design flaw is the sink outside the bathroom. The sink is small and the mirror, though well placed, has an unneccessary shelf which obstructs in a manner that makes the sink is great for just washing hands. For the price of the room this wasnt a big a deal considering the other pros. I must mention the quality of the the soap provided in the room was very good quality. I was sceptical about booking this stay based on the other reviews. I recommend staying at the Mosser.
