Absolutely beautiful setting, lovely large rooms and seamless check in process. We wished we would have stayed longer.

I've traveled to many beautiful places, but this remote gem was truly special for so many reasons. The Garage sits right in front of a waterfall, surrounded by sheep and two of the sweetest dogs who happily greet guests upon arrival. The owner, Anna, was welcoming and informative during check-in. One of the most memorable touches was the homemade cakes and desserts she bakes for guests, you can stop by throughout your stay and enjoy a treat whenever you'd like. We stayed in a charming studio that wasn't overly fancy, but it was filled with thoughtful details that made it unforgettable. My favorite was a matchbox that, when opened, revealed tiny stuffed mice tucked into little blankets and pillows. It was such a special touch and something children would absolutely adore.I won't ever forget this stay. I'm so glad we decided to add an extra night because this area was spectacular. The property feels wonderfully secluded, yet it's only a few minutes drive from some of Iceland's most famous waterfalls. A truly magical experience.

Perfect place outside of any cities right by a beautiful waterfall, Anna, the host was amazing answered every question/request we had, highly recommend!

Cute cottage with perfect views

What an amazing find!! We knew we wanted to set up a base close to some of the tour spots instead of going back and forth to Reykjavik and this was for sure the best decision. The place is so quant and well taken care of. It is family run and the host we met and worked with most of the time was Ana. She was fantastic! We had a view of the bay area, and right behind is a beautiful waterfall! If I am ever in that area again, I will for sure be staying there again. Not really walkable to many place, but short drives.

Lovely property with local family owners. Large, clean rooms, convenient location in the center of main attractions. We were greeted with 2 friendly dogs, owner’s son in law, homemade cake and snacks. Shower was comfortable, hot water plenty. Highly recommend.

Amazing setting with lovely landlords. No complaints.

Very nice little hotel nearby VIK. The hotel is located near a waterfall in a very nice spot. The room was quite large and everything was very clean. They also have some games and even snacks available for everyone staying to enjoy. Very good option at a reasonable price.
