No hair dryer in room, only one bath robe, no bar downstairs and if and when it opens , no draught beer and the facilities are in welcoming.

The room was ok but rest of hotel needs upgrading as old & dated. Main issue was too noisy from pub/club next door with music blaring till 4am. We could have been put in a room further away from source of noise as dont believe hotel was full.

Windows were sealed shut. Room was hot with no ventilation. Bed linen was stained. 2x plug outlets didn't work. Shower seal broken so leaked onto the floor. Left before I went to bed as couldn't stand the heat in the room.

Entering the property you have high hopes, reception is lovely as is the staircase. rooms are not as in the photos. stain on ceiling. looked out onto a very grotty back building. It is a reasonable hotel for workers/business men but would not recommend for a couples weekend break

Close to city centre river and park.

We have stayed here a few times before, so not the first visit. Prior to attended i called 8 times on the day before and day of travel and never had reception answer a call as i had a question to ask, some calls were well over 15 minutes . On getting in our room there is a QR code to add contact for sending SMS messages to reception as we wanted a fan but we also were running tight on time and had a table at a restaurant booked else where i thought when i got back the request would have been dealt with. On arriving back around 10:30 pm to our room we saw no fan so we had to go back down stairs to obtain one, not ideal. Then noticed no sockets at the bedside tables to had to go down again and request an extension lead. ON our second night at 9.30 the bar in the hotel was all locked up so could not get a drink.

This is a lovely looking hotel in need a major refurbishment. It’s clean but tired. It is however in an excellent location

The room was very tired, and also needed a good dusting

Air conditioning, toilet and sink had some sort of maintenance issue. However, the front desk clerk moved us to another room where things were much better.
