Clean room, welcoming staff, good food

Bula bula! We had such a great stay at Musket Cove for our honeymoon. The staff there are incredible: they knew our names and were always saying hello. We were a few minutes late for one of the walking tours of the island, and the staff went out of their way to try to get us on the group. When they couldn’t find the other group, they created a private walking group just for us! The food was delicious and different every night. There were so many fun activities to do during the day including snorkeling, various water sports, and on land activities. The room was spacious and clean. Would 100% recommend this hotel and would revisit

We had a wonderful stay at Musket Cove. The location is absolutely beautiful, with stunning tropical grounds and plenty of space to relax and unwind. The food was very good, with a mix of buffet dinners, 3-course set menus and a café option. The spicy chicken burger from the café was a standout. Accommodation was clean and comfortable. TVs don't work in rooms. WiFi is only available in restaurant areas. Our kids loved the complimentary canoes and stand-up paddleboards. We also hired bikes, which was a fun way to explore, although at around $100 AUD for the day they weren’t cheap. We joined the free snorkelling trip to the sandbar, which was great, and the paid village tour, which was a fantastic cultural experience. I also enjoyed a one-hour spa massage for about $130 Aust. Staff were friendly and welcoming, but service & organisation could be inconsistent. The relaxed island pace was part of the charm, but some activities weren’t well coordinated. We were sent to several places for basket weaving, then waited without acknowledgment, so we left. The kids’ night safari was also poorly communicated and had little wildlife to see due to timing. The pool was lovely, though there is no poolside service so you need to go to the bar. We also visited Plantation Island Resort for a drink and enjoyed the local rugby game. Overall, Musket Cove is a beautiful, peaceful resort perfect for slowing down, switching of and experiencing Fiji.

Very scenic and the staff is very friendly. Low tide makes the beach nearly useless as it goes way out. Not a modern resort but feels quiet and relaxing.

Musket Cove offers something for everyone, with a large property, well appointed amenities, excellent dining options & very good service & staff. Lithey is our favorite hostess at the main restaurant-always smiling,attentive and caring. The Resort has an interesting casual mix of yachties and resort guests across the friendly grounds. The Island Bar is a fun option to explore. We went on a snorkeling/island hop excursion, as well as Cloud 9 afternoon trip. In mornings we did our own power walks around the island and standup paddle board sessions across the lagoons. The Makare spa session with massages was very peaceful and good treatments. Stayed in the beach front bures, last year stayed in the lagoon villas. Both are great choices.

Our second time back. Love it and always have the best time. Will be back again.

The staff at Musket Cove are so friendly and welcoming. The included means were delicious. Out two bedroom island villa was spacious and having the two king bedrooms with ensuites was perfect for two couples
