Great traditional, family run hotel in the centre of Killarney that was our home away from home for three nights.

Lovely traditional hotel with an extremely helpful Reception team. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Wonderful staff, great location

👍

Staff very friendly , breakfast amazing, adjoining bar great . An amazing stay

The Arbutus Hotel takes customer service to a whole new level. The staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. The servers and receptionist were particularly attentive to my mother's gluten restriction with breakfast and dinner. The hotel is in a beautiful building with lots of intricate decorations and objects to look at. Our room, however, needed work. The heating came through an overhead fan that made noise every time the vents opened or shut, so I had to sleep with earplugs. The bathroom fan was also loud. The lights were confusing to operate, and one of the bedside lamps didn't work. The room was mostly clean, but the shower had some mold.

I enjoyed the quaint ambience very much. Our room was a generous size, which we appreciated. The staff were all delightful. We dropped by the pub Saturday night and the musicians were very talented, playing traditional Irish music that had me toe-tapping. My main suggestion is about food because I am Celiac and need gluten-free options. The options were limited, and I would have liked to have a small fridge in the room for food I keep with me because of the limited menu options I often am dealing with.

Top notch hotel with a great staff. It has an old-school vibe which is very charming. Great pub next-door that is more locals, which is nice versus all the tourist traps along the street.

Lovely overnight stay

What a fantastic hotel. Staff. Location. This is a perfect place to staff in Killarney!
