The hotel doesn't look that inviting on arrival as outside the steps are a bit broken and untidy. Inside is really nice though. Nice eating area around bar and separate dining room just off it. Our room was quite small and tired looking in parts. The bed was spotless and very comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Vicky was especially kind. If I had one thing putting me off was the hotel welcomed dogs but I felt there was a smell in the eating area which might not to be everyone's choice. . That aside I would recommend hotel to people.

Beautiful area, the hotel was cold and no way to turn on the radiatorsTV didn’t work in our room, Tern,,but the only stayed overnight. The restaurant staff were very stressed as it was very busy and impatient customers were rude to them. Sad to witness

nice place to stay , i was staying ofr work and sadly breakfast wasnt offered before 8.30 am, which meant i missed breakfast, parking can also be challenging

We stayed here around 8 years ago and when we decided to visit Alnmouth again we had no hesitation in booking here again. The hotel is modern, well decorated and the rooms very comfortable. The price was very reasonable and the fact that dogs stay free was a great bonus. Best of all were the staff, friendly and helpful, we would definitely stay here again. Parking may be an issue but we managed to find on a free on street space each day.

Staff friendly and helpful, room clean and bed comfortable. Generous food potions, cooked well. Would happily stay here again.
