We stayed at Assunta Domus in mid-July 2026 as a family of five, and it was hands-down the best accommodation decision we made for our trip. Finding space in historic Rome that comfortably fits a larger family without feeling cramped can be a challenge, but our room was incredibly spacious, comfortable, and beautifully kept. Coming back to a quiet, cool, and secure space after a long day of walking in the July heat was a lifesaver. The air conditioning worked flawlessly, and the beds offered a great night's sleep. The absolute highlight of this property is its location. We were within easy walking distance of almost every major attraction. The majestic Pantheon is practically in your backyard (just a 5-minute stroll), and Piazza Navona is even closer, and St Peter's Square was a manageable 30 minutes stroll. It made exploring with kids stress-free, as we could easily pop back to the room for a quick rest. What truly made our stay unforgettable, though, was our host, **Alessandro**. His hospitality went above and beyond. He took all the stress out of our arrival and departure by coordinating seamless airport transfers for our group of five.

Great location. Manager was helpful. It was good for my purposes due to upstairs and an extra bad downstairs. It’s not anything fancy but the location made it great

Great place to stay. Walking distance to everything. We were met at the entry doors and explained how everything works. The beds were extremely comfortable. Highly recommend this place for the location and comforts!

This was a great stay. The location is perfect - located in a safe neighborhood, close to several main tourist sites within walking distance. The room and the building were tidy and clean. There is an elevator, which is a huge bonus/essential for international travelers with large heavy bags. The host, Alessandro, was very responsive, accommodating, and helpful all throughout the booking, staying, and checking out processes.

Great location, friendly staff, and very clean. Air conditioning worked very well. I would highly recommend if you want to be in walking distance to many of the sights. They also helped us arrange a drop off to the cruise port that literally took us (and all our luggage for a total of 3 weeks in Europe) to just a few steps away from the entrance to the cruise ship. That was priceless!

The room was clean and cool. Great stay but window were open when we came back to room at night. There were many flies and sometimes mosquitos. Overall nice location, clean room, good stay.

Alessandro was a fantastic host and gave us everything and more to have a great Rome experience. We appreciated his presence and availability throughout our week long stay. Our room was clean and comfortable. And, we really fell in love with the neighborhood.

This place is in a prime location, close to almost all the major attractions to see in Rome by walking. If you enjoy walking, the coliseum and Vatican are about a 40 min walk or a short uber ride. Uber works well in Rome by the way. For breakfast we enjoyed at Margherita! Pancakes are on the menu and coffee is great! Just a few blocks from the guesthouse, on the same side of the street. Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Trevi fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza di Popolo (which is where most tours meet), and the major shops and eateries all close by on foot! The room was smaller than what the photos show but the bed is comfortable. There’s a coffee machine that serves espresso shots only and a complimentary bottle of bubbly. Great customer service from the owner and room was cleaned every day. What I loved the most was prime location!
