Some staff were wonderful, others mediocre at best. Server at the restaurant told us to order everything together then forgot the appetizer. We were charged an extra 16CHF at the end of the stay that wasn't ours but was charged to the room, surely a mistake but their systems are unfortunately very old and they either can't look it up or don't care to, and the server likely didn't confirm at the time that the room was correct. The hotel appears short staffed so it makes sense this happens. I recommend saving all receipts and proof in case of surprise charges. Location was picturesque and close by to nice swimming areas and convenient to public transit. Beds in room very hard -- up to individual taste, I liked it -- and some mold in the shower caulk but you can tell it's old and they have scrubbed it so that was fine too. No A/C, a bit tough during a heatwave but that's the risk! The included breakfast (paid for in the room fee) was nice and the dining patio lovely.

Enjoyed our two days here. Hotel is in a great location. Hotel is old so expect a classic Swiss waterfront hotel. Nice break from a modern hotel. Staff did great!

The location is fantastic but everything else about the hotel is not quite as good as it could have been. Small touch ups would go a long way to improve the property. The patios off of the rooms were great locations with a beautiful view but the railings were rusty and the paint on the door frame was chipped. Additionally, it was very hot and the information card said there were fans available upon request. When we asked for one we were told there weren’t any. We asked again later and were given one. Such a simple thing but why did we need to ask twice? It seemed like each time there was a small issue the staff would eventually find a solution but it took asking multiple times and was more hassle than it needed to be. All of that said, the location is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay overall.

First off, the staff was exceedingly friendly, professional, kind and very pleasant. We were received with a warm and friendly smile. The check-in process was very easy with no surprises. The property was a very short and easy walk from the ferry drop off point, and it was very clean and well maintained. Our room had a balcony overlooking the lake, which made it very special. Our room was clean and very spacious. It was very obvious that the entire staff cared about what you care about. The breakfast was VERY good with no shortage of items to eat. You can eat in the breakfast area, or you can eat outside in the terrace area overlooking the lake. The view of the Alps from our balcony was stunning; postcard like. We will definitely return for another visit because of how awesome our stay was. Do not be afraid about staying here because you will not be disappointed. A “gem” for sure.

Very nice and cozy hotel located literally steps away from the lake, surrounded by a magnificent view of the Swiss Alps., with friendly staff and comfortable room (ours had a balcony with a lake view), made our visit unforgettable..

Beds and pillows were very cheap and uncomfortable. Tv was size of a laptop. Not a smart tv either. Shower head doesn’t work unless I held it in place. Main staff was unhelpful . The restaurant had only veal to choose from . The view was very nice however

The staff went above and beyond. We had an issue with our car at check-in, and they were extremely patient and helpful with getting it fixed. Wanda gave exceptional service
