For a project in town I was looking for an accommodation in the town and at walking distance from my project and the ferry (I live on 1 of the neighbouring islands). Alicia's Inn is perfectly located, not only for those who want to be in town but conveniently (very) close to the "dollar busses" which can take you to places like the airport, Marigot and French Quarter. In the middle of the hustle and bustle of Back Street, it is a calm and clean haven with super friendly and helpful staff, offering just everything you need. Highly recommended!

Alicia’s inn is situated within the main town of Philipsburg . After a short walk, you are on the boardwalk and at the beach, where you can rent a beach chair and umbrella for $15. There are several good restaurants, Holland House, Seaview, Big Wood, Oeishas, as suggestions.

Flashing lights from the ceiling appears randomly throughout my stay in the room.

Let's start with the location. Walking distance to the beach, walking distance to high end shopping, local shopping, restaurants and discount open markets. All these are within your reach, without a taxi or a bus and without bursting a sweat. Easy access to buses going to other areas of Sint Maarten or French side. If you are used to daily room service in a hotel, then this Inn is not for you. If you want to enjoy Sint Maarten, shopping, eating and drinking local, then, this Inn is the right place. Staff friendly. Close to restaurants and marina.

Room was clean and comfortable, with air conditioning. Inn was perfect location with a quick walk to the beach, shopping and access to transportation.
