Basic hotel, good value - centrally located, plenty food/transport options nearby.

Female reception staff were so friendly and helpful but the two male main members were surely and disappointing. My main problem was that I called 3 days prior to arriving and asked for a high room. I was promised a room on the 16th floor facing the city. On arrival I was put on the 14th floor facing the Shell office. I complained on day 2 and they moved me after the second night up to the 16th floor into a much bigger room (the room style I actually booked) which had a much wider range of tv channels. Having booked for 13 nights it was really disappointing to have been so poorly treated in this way and let down for the first couple of days but the younger, European female receptionist in particular resolved and changed the room eventually and the rest of the stay was good.

Close to great restaurants/bars. Was hard to unload the car & book in within the 5-minute standing zone limit. There was a cue to book in so it took a lot longer than the 5-minute limit. I was concerned about getting a fine. Luckily we didn’t but it did make checking in stressful.

Clean and reasonable with good location.

Beds were rock hard and very uncomfortable. Location was good.

Great boutique size hotel. The rooms are very comfortable, quite large & modern. It feels new or recently renovated. I’ve stayed here a few times and it’s my go to when the price is right. The only tricky part is Parking but there are a number of options. Highly recommend.

Breakfast was not served well. Cooked items were very oily and tasted bad. There was no gluten free options.

The hotel is in a good location, close to the city centre and Northbridge. Kings Park and Elizabeth Quay are quite walkable, particularly the latter. The rooms are spacious, clean, and mostly have basic amenities. We were a little unhappy that dental kits weren't available in the room, and we were asked to come down to the reception to get them, as opposed to being helped out by housekeeping. We also needed an extra chair as we were working from the hotel, but were informed that we would need to come down to the reception after hours to grab one from the lobby. For a hotel this size, I felt that our requests should have been more straightforward and the service was slightly disappointing. Overall, still a good place to stay.

Front staff were friendly and helpful. A few cleanliness issues like algae growing in the drip tray of water cooler however.

We had no car, Central place to stay. Helpful staff.
