Rather old and weathered accomodation but clean . When I booked the accommodation I printed out the details and the price . The hotel charged me a different price when I got there…$40 more than I was quoted. Despite complaining when I got home and showing proof of my quote hotels.com and the Hehei Resort refused to honour my quote. I would not stay there again due to their refusal to honour my quote.

Great property on the ocean with lovely views, nice outdoors bar/restaurant food court kind of set up with outdoor fireplace to sit by, and very convenient to the main events - Hot Water beach where you can literally dig a hole in the sand (all the hotels provide shovels), that fills with hot geothermal water and creates your own shallow hot tub (or just use one someone else dug when they leave as we did!), and Cathedral Cove. The ocean views from our room which was roomy and comfy were stunning and we had a great time. Highly recommended.

Our villa had the most amazing view and on the beach. The master bedroom upstairs was very nice with the best deck and view. Just one bathroom downstairs. Over all the villa had everything we could have possibly needed and was very spacious. Clean and tidy.

Great place to stay for a stop over and close to all the sights to see

Great resort for visiting the area. Nice and close to hike to Cathedral Cove and a short drive to the Hot Beach. Loved everything.

A lovely location on the Coromandel Peninsula, perfect for families in a safe resort park setting. Rooms were spacious and comfortable with cooking facilities which will probably come in very handy as there is very little available in the "village" of Hahei itself in terms of cafe / restaurants particularly in the evening at end of season when we visited. Having said that, the General Store has a good range and a good cup of coffee can be had at a couple of places. Facilities in the park are good for families with kids - and of course you are right on the beach. There are a number of attractions nearby such as Hot Water Beach, Cathedral Cove and Cooks Beach and a cute ferry across to Whitianga. A shuttle bus operates from a large car park in the village providing access to the attractions of Cathedral Cove.

This is one of the best equipped hotels we stayed at on our trip. Excellent beachfront location, functional kitchen, everything was top notch.

Hahei Beach resorts offer one of the best sea-facing villas with a beautiful view. The location is peaceful, scenic, and perfect for a relaxing stay.
