I was so comfortable to stay in this hotel. What can I say

Great staff and location.

Clean room in a peaceful location but a little far from the main town area. The most disappointing part of my stay was the lack of professional service front desk staff. They lacked customer service skills and were quite abrupt.

Excellent location next to the waterfront. The staff were very pleasant and helpful despite the language barrier.

Overall, my stay was pleasant. However, there are a few issues that should be improved. The water pressure in the shower was very weak, which made showering take much longer than usual. The chair in the room was extremely worn out — the vinyl was peeling and torn in many places, and it was uncomfortable to sit on with bare skin. I was also surprised that the bed sheet had several large holes but was still being used. I hope these issues will be addressed.

Great ocean view. Towels were in pretty bad shape.

This hotel is okay, but over priced for what they offer. It gets super noisy from the people in the outdoor pool, literally sounds like they are next door, even though we were 3 floors up. The large balcony windows didn't block sounds or the strong ocean wind either. I booked this hotel 2 months prior to the trip, I expected they should reserve better view than ocean view that's all covered by other hotels. Their elevator is limited compare to the number of the rooms they have. Their towels are too old.

Beautiful sea view with reasonable price

PROS: Every room has a balcony and a view of the ocean. Full size fridge and stove. The hotel manager (or captain) was so nice and spoke very good English. She is also very funny and cute. I hung my shirt out to dry on the balcony and overnight it flew off. She helped me track it down. CONS: Aside from the rooms, the rest of the property is very hot. Although there is a washing machine in each room, there is NO DRYER. Make sure you have time to air dry your clothes. Our room was very run down and not kept up well. A ton of dust and hair under the beds. The towels smell like mildew and the walls were in really bad shape. Our room was 8 floors above the pool and you can hear every screaming child from your room even with the sliding door shut--Just bad architectural design not the management's fault. Don’t plan on an afternoon nap in this hotel.

Utop is always a great place to stay, and Yeosu is the best anytime of year
