Great location and hotel.

Fabulous location off the Galleries, near Grand Place and lots of restaurants. Easy for Central Station. Well air-conditioned room which we appreciated in the heat. Surprisingly quiet at night given its central location. Would definitely recommend and come again.

very nice location and excellent hotel

The location of the hotel is perfect! Close to Grand Place and many Brussels attractions, about 5 min walk from Brussels Central station, and close to shops and restaurants. We stayed 4 nights, and went to Cologne and Luxembourg as well as Bruges and Ghent during our stay which was very convenient being close to the station and even coming home late where restaurants are still open to have dinner at. Easy check in and check out. Staff is very courteous and accommodating! Made good recommendations too. We were at room 37 windows facing the Royal Galleries of St Hubert which was fun and unique. We were never bothered with noise at all (that's us though, we love to immerse and may be jetlagged too). The room is very clean and perfect in size, amenities are substantial but what we love is the clean bathroom, great water pressure and hot water is very sufficient. AC is a great bonus during our July visit. Our overall review is outstanding hotel to stay and highly recommended. We will definitely stay here again

This location is literally built in the Galeries so enjoy the walking around and even view out the window (opens completely to view walking street). That said, you cannot get a taxi/Uber in this area since it's pedestrian zone which is confusing if you are trying to get there or leave from there with your luggage to find your driver. Staff was friendly! Accommodation was chic and spacious - the bathroom was a whole room which was also interesting since it was open concept with the shower and toilet and sink. Coffee machine built in the cabinets. Very spacious! Fun to get a taste of things walkable in downtown in the pedestrian zone.

Staff very helpful, goes above & beyond . Raphael was super helpful. He deserves 5 stars for customer service. Downside I was up all night ( no sleep) the hotel safe malfunctioned requiring a locksmith to open it and had an early morning train to go to Paris. Otherwise staff very nice and Rodrigo was very helpful to check us in early as soon as we arrived before regular check in time .

Our stay at hotel de galaries was excellent primarily due to its staff. Both Rodrigo and David were super friendly and helpful. On more that one occasion they delivered ice buckets to help with my wife’s sprained ankle. They are very responsive as a staff and do what they can to make you feel at home. The hotel itself is in an excellent location. 5-10mins walk to all major attractions. Plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants with in a 10-15min walk. The rooms are small but that expected in Europe. There was no closet or wardrobe to hang our clothes. My primary issue was we reserved a room with a kind size bed and a balcony but were switched to a suite due to issues with the room. The suite had a shower/tub combo and a set of stairs to the queen bed. We reserved the king bedroom because of the walk in shower and to have a king size bed. That all being said, the hotel is quite nice and the staff friendly and we would stay there again.

We truly enjoyed our nights here at the hotel. The breakfast was good and of course, the coffee was great. A minor issue with an air conditioning issue but they fixed this immediately. This is an older hotel but we loved the place because of building. We also were able to see the buildings, churches, chocolate, beer and waffles which is what we expected. Also enjoyed local food. The staff was very helpful!

An excellent location and room. Our air-conditioning worked perfectly and was much appreciated in the heatwave. We were with friends and one room had unreliable air-conditioning, while the other had none at all, so I'd advise checking in advance.

Very helpful staff. Perks like coupons for free ice cream from next door and free choc taste around the corner. Clean room. Huge bathtub, with separate shower and toilet. Great location. Noisy, though.
