The hotel was in a good location and easy to find. It is a short walk from the Subway and Nagoya Castel. Howevere, the room I was checked into was questionably clean. There was hair in the bath/shower, a coffee spill in the fridge, and crumbs and stickness on the counter. The mattress also needs replacing as it is badly worn on one side offering no cution and had a funny odor.

超讚 Great location if you want to visit Kanazawa and then head off to Shirakawa-go. The station is next door. My room gave on the tracks but there was no train at night so fairly quiet. The bus stop for Shirakawa-go is next door as well, super practical!
The castle and other key locations are within walking distance but there are also plenty of buses and the travel center is super friendly.
